Wondering how administering a RAC environment differs from managing a single instance Oracle database? Not 100% sure how to install, create, and manage an Oracle RAC database?

Become a master of RAC with our upcoming workshop “Oracle 11g Real Application Clusters Administration”.

This workshop gives you the chance to master the art of creating and maintaining Oracle Real Application Cluster (Oracle RAC) environments.

Every day, students will get detailed instruction on Oracle RAC's key features reinforced by concrete examples of RAC installation, administration, and performance tuning. And by “concrete” we mean real-world examples, all directly drawn from Oracle RAC deployments in corporate environments.

Also, this course includes 6 hands-on labs to help you integrate the Oracle 11g RAC concepts you learn, including RAC architecture, integration with 11g ASM, performance tuning for RAC, special considerations for backup and recovery, and troubleshooting.

The workshop “Oracle 11g Real Application Clusters Administration” is organized by the Oracle Applications User Group and IT Convergence and will be held in the center of San Francisco from June 21st-24th, 2010.

Workshop seats are filling up quickly, so be sure to register!

After finishing this course, the above-mentioned issues will no longer trouble your mind. Among other things, you’ll be familiar with failover of instances and restoring lost connections, and you’ll know how to use the Oracle 11g’s configuration and management tools to monitor and tune a RAC environment.
